The all-female dancers use personal thematic material to perform solos that suit their own personalities, discovering something about themselves as women along the way. Limitations and conflicts that arise both in the dance world and in life and the resulting creation of new paths act as a metaphor for the pilgrimage the dancers take during the course of the piece.
